IS FWCC LICENSED BY THE STATE OF FLORIDA?

FWCC does not seek licensure from the State claiming a "Faith-Based" exemption.  We  respect the "State" as an instrument of God in areas of order. However, our authority is derived from the Great Commission and Great Commandment we have received from the Wonderful Counselor, The Lord God.  The State of Florida Department of Children and Families recognize FWCC as exempt from licensure. (A letter of exemption is displayed in our office) We are a Non-Profit Corporation under "Religious and Educational" status. 

Our staff is Certified and Licensed by their respective agencies to assure you that we are committed to provide "Best Practices" to all requesting our services.    

ARE DONATIONS TO FWCC TAX DEDUCTABLE?

Yes, FaithfulWords, Inc. has been granted 501 (c)(3) nonprofit status by the Internal Revenue Service. Donations to this Ministry are tax-exempt.   WHAT IS THE FWCC APPROACH?    

FWCC uses the Cognitive/Behavioral approach in Clinical Biblical Counseling, believing that problems arise from the way we think (cognitive) which result in the way we act (behavioral) and Narrative Therapy, the use of stories, historical events, etc., to illustrate situations and the issues being addressed. Christian Narrative Therapy focus is on the stories, characters and the lives of biblical and church figures as they relate to the issues being addressed. Our adjunct NEUROTRAINER using Light and Sound increases the outcomes by relaxation and meditation. Our Christ-Centered Counseling challenges each person to “have the mind of Christ” in dealing with complicated issues;

FWCC weaves a Faith-Based fabric into clinically proven "Best Practices" treatment.  

 WHAT IS THE COST IN DOLLARS?  

    Because FaithfulWords Counseling Centre is a faith-based ministry, not only in approach to counseling but in supplying the necessary financial resources to maintain its services, each person will be charged a fee for their involvement with FWCC. Counseling involves being financially responsible, and we believe that they should have a financial investment in their experience. Often "free services" (which cost you anyway), where a person has no investment produces little or no change.  You will find our services are in line or below what others might charge.

      WHERE IS FAITHFULWORDS COUNSELING CENTRE LOCATED?    

FaithfulWords Counseling Centre is born out of a desire to meet the needs of Polk County, Florida. Our  office is located at 123 North Kentucky Avenue Suite 202  in Beautiful Downtown Lakeland, Florida. We have wonderful facilities in which to serve you. From our comfortable Offices to a Great Support Group Room.  We can come to your Agency, Organization or Ministry if you require Onsite services.
